Optoma Appoints Stampede Europe to Serve as Distribution Partner

optoma-stampeedeAMHERST, NEW YORK, November 9, 2016 —After years of successfully serving as the brand’s largest value-added distributor in North America, Optoma has appointed Stampede Europe as a key distribution partner for its range of DLP business projectors in the UK. According to Stampede CEO Mark Wilkins, the expanded partnership will continue the longstanding success that established Optoma as a pioneer of high quality projectors in the United States, Canada, and Latin America.

Optoma’s Territory Manager, Nick Price, said: “With the expansion of Stampede into Western Europe and our existing successful partnership in the United States, it was an easy decision to extend our partnership. We look forward to working with the team to replicate this collaboration in the UK.”

“Given our close relationship and successful track record, it’s a very natural progression to expand the partnership to our UK headquarters,” Wilkins said. “Optoma produces the widest range of business projectors on the market today. The addition of the brand’s high quality product to our portfolio significantly enhances our offerings. We are confident that UK-based integrators and resellers will be just as excited about this partnership as we are.”

Optoma’s award-winning business projector range includes ultra-mobile LED for presentations on the move, desktop models, and installation projectors with wireless and networking capabilities, short throw options and multiple resolutions. Through the expanded partnership, Stampede will offer Optoma’s business projectors including the popular ML750ST LED projector and the new X345 and X355 range, while all projectors within Optoma’s business range will also be available to order.

The announcement follows Stampede’s expansion into Western Europe with a UK-based headquarters earlier this year, which was established in response to the growing market demand by both its manufacturer and reseller partners to ‘export’ its proven model for success beyond the borders of the Americas.

“Our goal is to create a single source for the highest quality ProAV and IT solutions in the UK, as we have done in the United States,” Wilkins concluded. “This new partnership brings us one step closer to that reality by enhancing our portfolio with Optoma’s range of DLP business projectors.”
