On-Q Announces Lineup for CEDIA Expo 2023
On-Q today announced its lineup for CEDIA Expo 2023 in Denver, Sept. 7-9. In the Legrand | AV Booth 1506, On-Q will showcase its enclosures for storing wired and wireless connected devices, accessories for cable management and 4K and 8K Ultra High Speed and Premium HDMI cables.
“In order for an install to go smoothly and stay on schedule, installers really need solutions built to simplify installations, reduce time on site, and deliver reliability,” said Gayle Johnston, On-Q, product manager, Legrand | AV. “Our latest solutions were specifically designed to solve challenges and provide a better AV experience, whether in residential or light commercial. At CEDIA, our enclosures, enclosure accessories, AV data and connectivity solutions will highlight the level of efficiency and reliability that installers can realize with On-Q.”
At the booth will be On-Q’s line of plastic enclosures, which provide Wi-Fi transparent infrastructure to properly organize, protect and support wired and wireless connected systems. Inside the enclosure, a universal mounting grid for cable management and device mounting for third-party accessories allows installers to mount devices securely with the Forward Keyhole Post Clips and Small Device Mounting Clamps designed for a “quick and easy” install. Installers can organize unsightly cables for a professional look and feel with the cable channels, while extra venting along the vertical plane of the door provides proper heat dissipation. The reversible door snaps into the trim ring without tools and swings a full 180 degrees for access to system components. Enclosures are available in a range of sizes for any application.
In addition, On-Q will showcase its Dual-Purpose Enclosures. The 9- and 17-inch Dual-Purpose In-Wall Enclosures are engineered to provide structured wiring and house components like switches, routers, access points and AV components such as streaming devices (Apple TV, Roku, Fire TV), and the Samsung One Connect (17-inch model). The boxes are constructed of Wi-Fi transparent material to manage wireless components and AV devices at point-of-use locations, such as directly behind a TV or other media centers. The enclosures include a 5-inch elevated mounting plate, cover, trim ring and drywall clips, allowing for new construction and retrofit installations.
For quick and efficient in-wall cable management, On-Q will have its Mini Traditional Pass-Through Grommets and Flexible Pass-Through Grommets on display. Unique to the industry, they are designed to hide low-voltage cables behind walls. Installers simply create an opening in the ceiling or wall, run the cabling and secure the Mini Pass-Through grommets, which can be done in less than 20 minutes. Sold in a pack of four, the Mini Traditional Pass-Through Grommets feature wing clamps that engage behind the drywall to ensure a secure fit and prevent slipping or falling out. Sold in a pack of 10, the Flexible Pass-Through Grommet features directional ribs that create a secure friction fit with the drywall, preventing any slip or fall out. Both solutions can support up to four low-voltage cables and are ideal for HDMI and TV cabling, IP cameras, wireless access points and wall-mounted speakers.
