Behind the Stand at ISE 2025: An Interview With Nureva’s Nancy Knowlton
THIS IS A PROMOTED POST
Welcome to this series highlighting some of the manufacturers and brands that will be featured on the show floor at ISE 2025. As we gear up for the event, we wanted to share a preview of what these companies are bringing to the table — from new products to insights about their focus for the show. These conversations offer a closer look at what you can expect and a chance to get to know the people behind the brands before the doors open in Barcelona. This interview is with Nureva’s Nancy Knowlton, president and CEO.
Q: Why is Nureva exhibiting at ISE this year?
A: There is no better place to be in early February than ISE in Barcelona. This is a great opportunity to connect with our channel and also end users who are actively considering audio solutions for their large and extra-large spaces. All the leading manufacturers of solutions are at the show, making it highly efficient for attendees to do their comparison shopping. We’ll provide help in that process by offering a live connection from our stand back to our Ottawa office so that attendees can hear for themselves how Microphone Mist technology offers a great pickup experience.
Q: What trends do you think we’ll see on the show floor, and how is your company positioned to capitalize on these opportunities?
A: As usual, we expect to see a lot of emphasis on AI and how it can enhance product performance. We’ll use that to springboard into conversation about how we build intelligence and functionality into our products.
Q: What new products or solutions are you showcasing at ISE, and how do they address current industry challenges?
A: We’ll showcase new products and added functionality to existing solutions. Here are two examples.
We’re excited to announce our new Nureva App for iOS with a unique new tool called acoustic check. This tool builds on our commitment to simplify installation and ensure our customers have a great audio experience. Using an iPhone, customers and installers can take acoustic measurements and get a score to help determine the best place in a room to install our HDL310 or HDL410 system.
We’re building on our ability to support simultaneous in-room voice amplification and a live UC&C call by introducing Adaptive Voice Amplification and extending our support to a broader range of wireless microphones. This functionality has been frequently requested for HEd classrooms and training spaces.
Visitors will get an opportunity to experience our large meeting room audio quality firsthand with a live, real-world demonstration of the Nureva HDL410 audio conferencing solution. We’ll also be demoing Nureva Console (our modern device management solution), a host of camera integrations that use our sound location data and Microsoft Teams Room bundles that utilize our Teams-certified audio. Additionally, we’ll be hosting daily interactive sessions for integrators to learn more about our app, camera integrations and solutions for divisible rooms.
Q: How is your company expanding its global presence besides exhibiting at ISE 2025?
A: We’re adding distributors and with them resellers in a range of countries. We’re leveraging standardizations within global companies to proliferate our installations, which, in turn, leads to broader awareness and greater pull across the world. We’re enhancing our ecosystem relationships and broadening the awareness of Nureva globally.
Q: Why should ISE 2025 attendees visit your booth?
A: There are multiple reasons why people would want to visit our stand at ISE:
- To learn what’s new from us
- To directly engage and have their questions answered
- To learn how our sound location data can be used to control camera views
- To get a live demo of our products
- To speak with us about their plans and understand how we can support their vision
Q: Anything else you’d like to add?
A: We’re excited to engage with a broad range of end users at the show, particularly those IT managers and teams who are undertaking their own product assessments and are focused on product simplicity. We’re looking to connect with those parties whose audio visions and needs match our product and development vision.
