New Sourcerer Plug-In from Solid State Logic Cleans Up Audio

Solid State Logic expanded its family of premium FX plug-ins, this time with Sourcerer — a processing tool for removing unwanted ambient sound, feedback and stage bleed from live and pre-recorded sources. SSL says that Sourcerer is able to quickly target specific sounds and remove them in a natural way, while retaining the original characteristics of the original source. The new plug-in is available in VST, VST, AU and AXX formats and also as part of the SSL and Slate Digital Complete Access Bundle.

Featuring adjustable Threshold, Time and Depth settings, Sourcerer can be “quickly adapted to fit various scenarios such as a concert recording, an instrument captured with multiple microphones recorded in the studio, a broadcast panel, or even film dialogue.”
