New Klipsch Sound Bar Line Is High-End

Klipsch just announced the debut of two new high-end sound bars that look and sound like the brand’s premium Reference speakers.

The Klipsch BAR 48 is a 3.1 sound bar, featuring a dedicated center channel speaker for enhanced clarity, a wireless 8″ subwoofer for powerful, deep bass and built-in surround sound processing technologies such as Dolby Digital audio technology, Dolby Digital Plus technology, DTS technology and DTS-HD technology. Designed to fit below the TV screen, the slim profile BAR 48 sound bar measures 48″ in length and just 2.8″ tall and can be wall-mounted or placed on a table. Optional SURROUND 3 speakers are easy to set up and use, turning this 3.1 sound bar into a full-fledged, dedicated 5.1 surround sound system capable of delivering Dolby and DTS 5.1 formats natively. BAR 48 U.S. MSRP is $499 each. Optional SURROUND 3 speakers U.S. MSRP $249/pair.

The Klipsch BAR 40 is a 2.1 sound bar with a wireless 6.5″ subwoofer, designed as an easy to set-up and use upgrade to underwhelming TV sound. The BAR 40 features legendary Klipsch acoustics, a built-in Dolby Audio decoder and enhanced virtual surround sound modes for a cinematic experience. While it measures just 40″ in length and 2.8″ high so it can be added discreetly to any room, its performance allows listeners to hear every detail of their favorite shows and music. BAR 40 U.S. MSRP is $299 each.

The Klipsch BAR 48 and BAR 40 work with Bluetooth wireless technology and they will both ship in the fall of 2019 — both are here.
