New architectures for Christie simplified video system design at ISE

Don’t miss this free education session by Christie at ISE 2018 on February 9 at 10 a.m.

The transmission and processing of audio visual content over IP and Ethernet networks is poised to transform AV system designs, using mature and readily available Software Defined over Ethernet (SDVoE) AV products and Ethernet switching hardware. SDVoE technology offers an approach to system architecture that is dramatically simplified compared to traditional hardware-centric approaches. SDVoE systems offer:

  • lower cost
  • fewer points of failure
  • expanded and more flexible capabilities

During the education session, attendees will gain insight into the foundations of the product platform, example system designs, system scalability and advantages vs. traditional system designs. They will understand how to leverage software-defined systems to address user needs more efficiently and learn how SDVoE systems are flexible – recreate a matrix switch, a video wall, a multiviewer or a KVM without any changes to hardware. No registration required. Learn more about Karl Johnson and the topic, and discover Christie’s Terra products and solutions.

Also check out the SDVoE Alliance presentation on Feb 6, from 1:30-2 p.m., where Justin Kennington will discuss “Video Over 1G Ethernet: the ugly truth.”
