GLP launched the JDC Burst 1, a strobe/wash hybrid LED light that builds on the form factor of the JDC2 IP. The JDC Burst 1 features a controllable white strobe line that is 10% brighter than the JDC1 and offers more strobe effects. In addition to the white strobe, the unit includes two RGBW LED plates for improved color performance over the JDC1. As GLP’s first hybrid strobe with RGBW LED plates, the Burst 1 can produce both vibrant traditional colors and delicate pastel tones. The RGBW plates are controllable in 20 x 240 RGBW pixels, divided into 12 x 4 segments of 5 x 5 pixels each.
By combining the white strobe line with the RGBW LED plates, the JDC Burst 1 can deliver more intense and synchronized effects. Both elements can flash in the same white color, creating powerful visual impact.
Designed for all environments, the JDC Burst 1 carries an IP65 rating and is resistant to rain, dust and pyrotechnic effects. Unlike conventional fixtures that use fans and require frequent cleaning, the Burst 1 is fully enclosed and maintenance-free.
Whether used as a strobe, wash light, or dynamic effect light, the JDC Burst 1 integrates seamlessly into a variety of lighting designs. It features a 180-degree tilt and offers multiple control options, including DMX, ArtNet, sACN and GLP iQ.Mesh. A multi-patch function expands its potential for customized control setups.
Weighing just 14 kg and equipped with ergonomic handles, the JDC Burst 1 is easy to transport and install. Camlock quick-release fasteners on the arm allow for flexible mounting—whether horizontal, vertical or at creative angles.
