NEC Launches 34-inch Curved Desktop Monitor

NEC Display Solutions Europe
today launched the EX341R, a 34-inch curved widescreen desktop monitor. Designed for applications in high-end offices and financial trading floors, the monitor is developed for industries where large displays are central to the user’s day-to-day activities. The seamless 80cm curved screen provides a wide and flexible working space, perfectly suited for efficiently handling and analysing large amounts of information. A single EX341R display serves as the perfect replacement for two 24” or even three 19” inch displays, eliminating bezel gaps and cabling.

One unique feature is that is has a built-in low blue light and flicker-free technology, NEC says the display supports better eye health and overall comfort and wellbeing without compromising on image quality. It also comes with full height adjustability and lower positioning options, an ultra thin bezel to minimize visual intrusion and integrated keyboard and mouse switch for multi-machine users.

Along with this the curved display features a variety of content arrangement and viewing options including picture-in-picture (PIP) and picture-by-picture (PBP) screen splitting for side-by-side viewing of output sources. All these features combine to offer unrivalled flexibility and ergonomic applications.

The EX341R curved monitor is designed to provide return on investment over an extended period. Its ECO Mode energy saving feature helps lower energy usage, while its 180-degree rotation capability powered by Windows OS extends the unit’s flexibility for multiple usages across a variety of industries.
