NEC Corporation of America has announced the availability of NEC UNIVERGE BLUE CONNECT, a fully integrated and born-in-the-cloud UCaaS solution, and NEC UNIVERGE BLUE ENGAGE, a CCaaS solution for businesses of all sizes.
UNIVERGE BLUE CONNECT is a cloud-based communications system. It’s a video and audio platform that helps manage team communications and collaboration. UNIVERGE BLUE ENGAGE is a remote solution for cloud-based support and calling — thus, allowing a company with multiple agents to route calls and support to anyone — no matter where they are working. It integrates with most CRM and ERP systems and collaborative apps.
Both of these services feed into UNIVERGE BLUE MEET: NEC’s Zoom-like cloud-based video service that integrates audio, video/screen-sharing and messaging to video transfer, one-click screen-sharing and in-meeting chat.
UNIVERGE BLUE CONNECT and ENGAGE are now generally available for NEC’s U.S. Business Channel Partner Community and customers. According to the company, this announcement represents phase 1 of a global rollout during 2020 that will ultimately include international partners by 2021.
NEC’s portfolio of on-premises solutions is now augmented with the addition of the new UNIVERGE BLUE portfolio of UCaaS and CCaas solutions offering calling, team collaboration and customer care solutions built on a proven UCaaS platform. NEC’s portfolio now addresses business needs across both premises-based and cloud deployment environments and enables organizations to migrate at a pace appropriate to their business needs.
