NDI announced that it has certified Yealink’s SmartVision 80 Premium Intelligent PTZ Camera, marking Yealink’s first product to receive NDI certification. The move brings NDI’s IP-based video connectivity into Yealink’s enterprise collaboration portfolio and extends the company’s reach into professional AV production.

Yealink, known for its Microsoft Teams and Zoom-certified collaboration products, is integrating NDI technology to enable seamless video-over-IP workflows. The partnership is intended to improve interoperability between unified communications and ProAV applications.

The SmartVision 80 combines AI-driven features with PTZ performance for smarter, more flexible meetings. With NDI certification, the camera can integrate directly into broadcast, streaming, and production environments, bridging corporate collaboration and ProAV workflows.

While NDI does not directly build AI functions, its framework provides metadata and connectivity that enable AI-based systems to operate within IP video environments. “Joining NDI’s ecosystem allows us to provide our customers with even greater flexibility,” said Dawson Cai, vice president of product at Yealink. “Integrating NDI now makes it possible for the SmartVision 80, and future Yealink products, to connect and collaborate seamlessly across industries and environments.”
