Nanolumens Expands Into Video Processing With Launch of Aurora
Nanolumens announced it will debut Aurora, a high-performance video processing platform designed exclusively for its LED displays, at InfoComm 2025.
The launch represents Nanolumens’ expansion into video processing, advancing its goal of offering complete, end-to-end display ecosystems. Aurora is purpose-built to work only with Nanolumens displays, eliminating compatibility challenges and simplifying system integration, the company said.
“We are thrilled to bring to market a processing solution that aligns perfectly with our display technology, removing uncertainty and delivering the performance, reliability and ease of integration our customers demand,” said Kurt DeYoung, chief revenue officer for Nanolumens.
Aurora delivers 23-bit output and 12-bit input for high visual accuracy and true-to-life color representation. The platform features auto-calibration for faster setup and maintenance, intelligent scaling to prevent image distortion, and advanced dimming for consistent quality at varying brightness levels. Aurora also includes a web-based Video Wall Manager for content control and built-in diagnostics.
Engineered for critical and high-impact environments, Aurora is fully TAA compliant and suitable for applications including government facilities, control rooms, financial institutions, casinos, healthcare facilities, transportation hubs, hospitality venues and corporate offices.
Aurora includes a Display Processing Unit (DPU) to manage content delivery and a Processor Control Unit (PCU) to coordinate multiple DPUs for larger installations. It is backed by Nanolumens’ display warranties, which range from two to eight years depending on the display series.
Nanolumens will showcase Aurora at InfoComm 2025, June 11–13, at booth 3081 in the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
