MuxLab Brings New DisplayPort Splitters to ISE
AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS, BOOTH 1-N95 – MuxLab will display two new solutions for distributing DisplayPort to multiple displays while supporting true 4K/60 resolutions. Ideal for commercial AV systems, classroom training systems, boardrooms and medical facilities, both products support dual-mode DisplayPort.
The DisplayPort 1.2a 1×2 Hub, MST (500506) extends different AV content in the DisplayPort 1.2a format from one source to two displays. As a hub, it transmits 4K video with PCM audio up to 7.1 channels at a 192 kHz sampling rate. This hub also provides a Multi-Stream Transport (MST) option of up to eight streams at a time for a daisy chain configuration to downstream displays. This option allows the user to send the source to multiple displays as an extended desktop for increased productivity.
“MuxLab’s first solution to support MST technology as a feature of the DisplayPort 1.2 specification allows multiple monitors to be fed from a single DisplayPort source,” explained MuxLab President Daniel Assaraf. “We view this as a smart solution to support 4K daisy chaining configurations for enhanced installations using the DisplayPort format.”
For more streamlined applications, the DisplayPort 1.2a 1×2 Splitter SST (500505) duplicate identical AV content in the DisplayPort 1.2a format from one source to two displays. It transmits 4K video with PCM audio up to 7.1 channels at a 192 kHz sampling rate. As a Single-Stream Transport (SST) system, this product simplifies the configuration.
