MultiTouch has announced a partnership with Ventuz Technology to create interactive display solutions on MultiTouch’s MultiTaction platform. Ventuz’s 3D real-time graphics content creation, authoring and playout control software is designed for high-end use in any area of audio visual content production. Ventuz’s customers include a large number of top-tier clients, such as Microsoft, Porsche and Adidas.

The partnership with MultiTouch will allow Ventuz to combine its leading-edge authoring applications with MultiTouch’s MultiTaction series of LCD displays. This leverages advanced interactive features such as IR pen and Enriched Reality technology, and supports deployment in scalable table or wall installations of any size. MultiTouch and Ventuz will showcase their partnership at InfoComm 2013.

MultiTouch’s MultiTaction displays include gesture and object recognition capabilities with the ability to accommodate an unlimited number of simultaneous users/touch points. They also offer unlimited stackability, while MultiTouch’s Enriched Reality technology enables MultiTaction Cells to react to real-life objects placed on the screen. Ventuz will use these features to demonstrate the newest generation of its software suite Ventuz 4.
