MultiDyne Adds 10GbE Support and White PTZ-Compatible Options to VersaBrix Series
MultiDyne Video & Fiber Optic Systems has added 10GbE connectivity to select products and introduced new options in its VersaBrix Series, which is designed for extending PTZ and POV cameras in UCC environments.
A new white color option is now available across all four VersaBrix frameworks, which come in two-, four-, six- and ten-slot versions. The white chassis is intended to match the increasing use of white PTZ and POV cameras in meeting spaces, classrooms and medical facilities, where equipment often needs to blend with lighter color schemes or integrate into mobile cart systems.
VersaBrix units are designed to simplify integration by consolidating power and signal connections into a single low-voltage interconnection. Each unit can handle 4K/HD video, audio, data, sync and Ethernet. Standard models operate on 12V DC power, but the system can be configured to accept 56V for use with PoE++, enabling power delivery through the same cable infrastructure.
The VersaBrix fiber-optic transport systems are designed for both permanent AV installations and temporary deployments where copper cabling may not be practical or cost-effective. They offer an alternative to plenum-rated 12G-SDI coax or twisted-pair cables. Recent updates include support for HDMI 2.0 and both 1GbE and 10GbE with PoE++.
MultiDyne has also added 10GbE support to its VF-9000 bulk transport frames. This allows users to transmit large volumes of optically isolated 10GbE signals over a single fiber strand without requiring VLAN configuration.
