MSE Audio has announced the SoundTube Entertainment STNet IPD-SM52-EZ and IPD-SM82-EZ-II speakers, designed to bring Dante-enabled capabilities outdoors.

The STNet IPD-SM52-EZ and IPD-SM82-EZ-II are Dante compatible, allowing them to be compatible and operate with all other Dante products worldwide. The STNet outdoor surface mount speakers feature digital signals with power sent directly to the speakers through a standard category (CATx) cable. DSP management with crossover, time correction and EQ can all be completed via the web and by pairing with SoundTube’s ST-NET Switch, the speakers are driven with up to 40 watts PoE.

SoundTube’s STNet bi-amped surface mount speakers use SoundTube’s BroadBeam Ring high-frequency dispersion technology designed for messaging and music over a wide area. The IPD-SM52-EZ is a 5.25” so-called “cost-conscious” surface-mount loudspeaker with one 5.25-inch polypropylene woofer and one 1-inch soft dome tweeter. The IPD-SM82-EZ-II has a 8″ woofer and 1” tweeter.

The IPD-SM52-EZ and IPD-SM82-EZ-II speakers are designed for both indoor and outdoor applications, featuring polypropylene woofers, soft dome tweeters and the option of sealed or ported enclosures. For extreme weather applications, a stainless bracket and port plug are available as accessories to create a fully-waterproof, IP-rated audio system.
