MQA Demos Studio Quality Sound at CEDIA 2017

San Diego, CA—5 September 2017— Music technology company MQA is pleased to announce its participation in CEDIA 2017 as a keynote panellist and exhibitor.  Show attendees will have the opportunity to learn and experience for themselves how MQA’s award-winning technology can deliver master quality audio in a file small enough to stream or download.

New MQA partners

Following major announcements at the IFA technology show in Berlin, LG’s new V30 smartphone was unveiled as the first globally available MQA handset, and MQA playback has been incorporated into the two latest portable players from Sony’s Walkman brand.  Two streaming services, global music streaming platform Deezer and Korean-based Groovers, have both confirmed their new agreements with MQA as well.

Newly announced for CEDIA are two new hardware partnerships: Norwegian audio manufacturer, Electrocompaniet, and 55 year-old family-owned hifi electronics company Rotel.  Electrocompaniet plans to integrate MQA into its high-end and custom installation lines, with several products slated to be MQA-ready by end of 2017.  Rotel plan to launch their first MQA-integrated hardware in mid 2018.
