Mitsubishi Debuts Eight Thin Frame 1080P LCD HDTVs
Eight new 1080p LCD HDTVs were announced by Mitsubishi Digital Electronics, and the company is marketing these as having uniquely thin frames. The models range in price from $2,699 to $5,699 and in sizes from 40 to 52 inches. They offer up the usual proprietary image and color processing technologies and some come with HDMI 1.3, some with CableCARD slots.
The Thin Frame design features hidden speakers and a frame measuring about an inch. For example, each 40-inch model is only 37 inches in width and 23.9 inches in height, and each 46-inch model is 42.3 inches wide and 26.9 inches tall, etc.
