MirageVisionTV Announces New Leadership
MirageVisionTV has appointed Michael Campagna as the company’s new president and CEO.
Since 2004, MirageVisionTV has been at the forefront of converting brand-name indoor TVs into high-performance outdoor TVs. The company’s weatherization system and picture enhancement technology are meticulously applied to each TV and display at its Las Vegas facility. According to the company, this dedication to quality has made its products a staple in various prestigious locations, including hotels, resorts, casinos, pools, spas and outdoor dining venues along the Las Vegas Strip. Additionally, its MirageVision Outdoor TVs are featured in professional sports and college stadiums, amusement parks, cruise ships, zoos, museums and numerous outdoor dining restaurants — as well as thousands of backyards across America.
Campagna brings extensive experience in the Consumer Electronics and ProAV industries to MirageVisionTV. Over the past six years, he has held key positions at Mimo Monitors, including CMO, CRO, and, most recently, managing director of Mimo Monitors, BV. Prior to his tenure at Mimo, Campagna spent 20 years at Peerless-AV, where he served as COO and president for 13 years. Under his leadership, Peerless-AV launched the world’s first large-format outdoor display with an industry-leading IP68 weatherization rating, starting with the development and sale of 42-in. and 47-in. outdoor HD LCD displays.
Dale Potts, the founder and inventor of MirageVision Outdoor TVs, has recently stepped down as president and CEO but will remain involved in the company’s future strategy and growth. Potts is credited with creating the outdoor TV industry in 2004. A serial entrepreneur with over 40 years of business experience, Potts was one of the first in the U.S. to market, sell and service cellular phones for Ameritech Bell, the originator of cellular phone technology. He also invented the Blimp-Cam, which flew in several indoor professional sports arenas across America. In addition to creating the MirageVision TV, Potts invented modern artificial turf grass and putting greens, known as Mirage Putting Greens & Waterless Grass, with millions of square feet sold worldwide since 1998.
Combining Potts’ 40 years of entrepreneurial success and innovative thinking with Campagna’s 30+ years of manufacturing experience and over 20 years of strategic, sales and marketing expertise, MirageVision says it is poised for significant growth under this new leadership.
Recently, Mirage Vision TV developed and began selling what it claims is the the “world’s first 100-in. and now the world’s largest LCD outdoor TV”, powered by Hisense USA, which will be introduced at the CEDIA Expo 2024 in Denver, CO. In addition, the company will introduce the world’s first “Plug & Play” Outdoor Console Direct View LED Jumbo TVs, available in sizes ranging from 115-in. to 212-in.
