Mersive Technologies is announcing two new products at Integrated Systems Europe 2020. One product claims to seamlessly integrate third-party videoconferencing services with the Solstice wireless collaboration platform, allowing both remote and in-room participants to share a unified meeting experience. For the education market, Mersive is launching a software-based active learning solution that improves active learning build-outs. Mersive will demonstrate both products throughout ISE (Hall 14, Stands N-120 to N-130).
Mersive’s videoconferencing integration offers an easy way for remote participants to join a meeting with their wireless collaboration solutions. Mersive has developed a vendor-agnostic method of bridging Solstice’s in-room content sharing to remote participants using the videoconferencing platform of choice. To decipher this announcement, basically, you’ll plug the mic and camera into the new Mersive solution and use it to connect to the UCC video platform on your PC or laptop.
Mersive’s new solution for active learning leverages Solstice and adds the ability for a faculty member to actively route video feeds among team table displays during learning sessions. Mersive’s solution leverages Solstice Pods attached to displays at each team table and the primary display at the front of the room.
Mersive has not yet announced the dates for the products’ release.
