Mersive Technologies announced today the appointment of Theresa Benson to the role of vice president, marketing and product management. Mersive says Benson will play a critical role in developing the company’s go-to-market strategy and a “thoughtful roadmap of forward-thinking products grounded in the market’s ever-evolving collaboration needs.” She has been a consultant for Mersive for nearly a year, working closely with the executive leadership, marketing and engineering teams.

“Theresa has an impressive record of listening to the market, seeing the big picture, and responding with products and services that make a difference while helping companies be more profitable. Her strength lies in the ability to bring together diverse expertise, strategies, and tactics to help organizations achieve goals,” says Alan Young, chief product officer and chief information security officer of Mersive. “Theresa is pragmatic, authentic, and ambitious, and those are the same words we use to describe the type of company Mersive strives to be.”

Benson’s prior experience developing InRule Technology’s combined messaging and go-to-market strategies after acquisitions in machine learning and process automation positions her well for her new role at Mersive, where she will lead the integration of advanced features into its platform roadmap. Benson also has robust technical chops with a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Iowa State, giving her the ability to work closely with Mersive engineers in addition to executive and sales teams.

“Mersive is at the forefront of transforming collaborative solutions, transcending the ordinary with cutting-edge technology and intuitive design, and I’m excited about the near future,” said Benson. “Having been in the trenches with Mersive for the last several months, I get the benefit of making my decision to come on board with full faith and confidence in the team. That’s a powerful endorsement for my belief in the strength of the company and the very relevant place it holds in the market.”
