Marshall Second Generation CV500-MB-2 Mini HD Camera Coming Soon at InfoComm 2014

El Segundo, CA (June 18, 2014) – Marshall Electronics announces its next generation Miniature 2MP HD Camera, called the CV500-MB-2, providing full HD video in multiple formats. This is the second generation of the popular CV500 Mini-Camera line, improving versatility, durability, compatibility, and functionality.

The new CV500-MB-2 offers a durable 1/4”-20 mountable body with HD-SDI/CVBS (BNC) built into rear panel, and easily switchable M12 lenses. The CV500-MB-2 is ideal for filming applications such as P.O.V. perspectives in professional/college Sports, documentaries, reality TV, culinary shows, house of worship, stunt filming, hidden cams, and others. The compact camera can also be used to film corporate training videos or for web conferencing using an HDSDI to USB3 converter. The image quality and ability to change lenses set the CV500-MB-2 apart from web cameras and other miniature P.O.V. cameras.

Marshall Electronic’s CV500-MB-2 camera has a 2 Megapixel CMOS Sensor and includes a miniature 3.7mm High Definition Prime Lens. New chip-set features exceptional double shutter Wide Dynamic Range, Automatic White Balance, Pixel Correction, and extreme Low-light sensitivity.

Marshall’s CV500-MB-2 Mini Broadcast Cameras are easily switchable between resolutions of 1920×1080 and 1280×720, as well as frame-rates of 60/59.94/50/30/25.

CV500-MB-2 will be available June 18 at a target market price of $499.00. The camera will be on display at InfoComm booth C11325.
