Marshall Electronics will be debuting its new VS-PTC-IP PTZ Camera Controller at the 2019 InfoComm Show (Booth 3725). Used for live event production and content creation in houses of worship, education, pro AV, broadcast and other PTZ applications, the VS-PTC-IP controller is designed to operate across multiple camera protocols on a single network.
The controller offers operation through a PTZ joystick using a fine-tune adjustment knobs for iris, white balance, exposure, red/blue, shutter speed, focus, pan/tilt speed and zoom speed. An on-board Tally indicator includes contact, tally and on-air tally modes for a fast and easy workflow, while a multi-color button illumination indicator directs operation to specific functions.
The VS-PTC-IP offers cross-protocol mix-control in one controller and operates in RS232/RS422/RS485 and IP, as well as ONVIF and VISCA-over-IP. The controller can set-up seven cameras via RS232, 14 cameras via RS422 and 255 cameras via IP – all selectable through a single unit.
