Longtime CEDIA Member and Volunteer Bill Anderson Dies

CEDIAlogo-feature-0713CEDIA sent an announcement today that longtime CEDIA member and vice president of Audio Video Design in Mission Viejo, Calif., Bill Anderson, has unexpectedly passed away. Bill owned Genesis Audio & Video until it was acquired by Audio Video Design. CEDIA Executive Director & COO Don Gilpin sent the following letter today to members:

It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that longtime CEDIA member, active volunteer, and close friend to many in the CEDIA family Bill Anderson of Lake Forest, California passed away unexpectedly Tuesday night.

A founding member of CEDIA, Bill has been active in the industry since its early days and has served in numerous volunteer roles with CEDIA including serving as the Chair of our Marketing Committee and as a member of the Manufacturers’ Council.

Along with my colleagues here at CEDIA, I have many fond memories of Bill and my thoughts are with his close friends and family during this difficult time.
