LinkedIn kicks it up a notch with an attractive Android app, BAM!!!

LinkedIn’s Android app is finally out of Beta and available to download for free! “LinkedIn for Android puts your professional network just a touch away. Walk into any interview or client meeting with the ability to look up the details and connect with over 100 million professionals worldwide. Get the latest updates and messages from your network and keep them up-to-date with your status in real-time.

I did some testing with it today, posting to and from my Twitter acount (You may have seen my “Test” Tweets)and it’s worked everytime flawlessly, so far. I really like the Graphic User Interface (GUI), Grey and Green color accents with their standard blue.  Ha ha, As  soon as I typed out “Working flawless” I went back to test out another post and it crashed upon opening, which brings me to a few notes from other users:

*Force Closes after launching

*Can’t access sent messages or archives

*No contact sync or Forums

For the most part I really like this app (even with the missing features), and it makes me want to use my LinkedIn more often. Also I wish linkedIn would update their website to look and feel a bit more like the app does. The only thing I could really want more out of this app (obviously other than the missing features) is the ability to move it to your SD card, have a cool BUMP feature for contacts, similar to thebluetooth feature the IOS version, and of course be able to support Android 3.0 (HoneyComb), currently this is not the case so Galaxy Tab users (first gen) and a few other non Honeycomb at the moment Tablets are good to go. Download it today and give it a whirl, Lets here it for Professional Facebook’s new and exciting app, Huzzah!
