LG Electronics hosted its sixth annual Transportation Summit at the company’s North American headquarters in New Jersey, bringing together nearly 30 system integrators and design-engineering firms to discuss technologies that enhance travel experiences.
The event featured sessions on display innovation, private 5G networks, E-INK displays, system-on-chip advancements and remote management tools.The goal was to help operators improve passenger comfort, connectivity and engagement at every stage of travel.
“This year’s summit accomplished everything that we hoped it would and more,” said Daniel Verbsky, transportation account manager at LG Electronics USA. “Nearly 30 LG partners collaborated for a full day to identify ways to work together to improve the operational efficiencies of transportation customers while enhancing the passenger experience.”
Attendees also heard from LG ecosystem partners including TSI Touch, Peerless-AV, Bluum and Userful, who showcased solutions for interactive displays, DVLED mounting systems, distribution support and control room operations.
Nearly half of participants were new to the summit, underscoring its growing influence as a platform for collaboration. Breakout sessions, tours of LG’s Business Innovation Center and demonstrations at the Inspiration Lab gave attendees opportunities to explore both emergingtechnologies and practical applications.
LG said its commercial display portfolio—ranging from DVLED and LCD to specialty solutions—is designed to support transportation hubs with reliable, scalable technology that helps maximize efficiency and create modern passenger-facing environments.
