LG Business Solutions USA is now accepting orders for its first Level 3 DC Charger in the U.S. The new fast charger, model LG EVD175SK-PN, is certified to UL 2594, the standard for Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment. The charger includes dynamic load management for multiple units, a 24-inch high-resolution LCD touchscreen display, and a liquid-cooled CCS/NACS charging cable. It is a stand-alone model with a connected power bank that delivers up to 175kW of fast charging. The outdoor touchscreen display supports various functions for different users and applications.

For AV integrators, the availability of the Level 3 DC chargers presents new business opportunities. LG’s EV chargers are part of the company’s electrification strategy to help customers transition buildings to more sustainable energy usage. LG’s broader electrification products include heat-pump-enabled HVAC systems, water heaters, dryers, energy storage systems, and ENERGY STAR certified smart appliances, such as induction ranges and cooktops. Additionally, LG’s ThinQ Energy platform allows customers to monitor and manage their home’s energy usage.
