Why are labor installation standards important in ProAV and how do they impact the bottom line? You can find the answer to that question — and more — during a December 20 LAVNCH & LEARN with NSCA.

Earlier this fall, NSCA released updated Labor Installation Standard guidelines to help AV professionals improve and maintain project profitability. On December 20 at 1 p.m. EST, Megan A. Dutta will be joined by NCSA’s director of business resources Mike Abernathy and others to discuss the new standards. The group will also dive into a bigger picture conversion about why it is vital for integrators to be meticulous when it comes to job costing, budgeting and choosing projects in an era where it’s particularly hard to be profitable.

“Our role here at NSCA is to ensure systems integrators are equipped with the tools to be profitable,” said Abernathy. “NSCA’s Labor Installation Standards (LIS) is a key resource as they quote projects. When you combine LIS with other NSCA industry benchmarks and metrics you are positioned to face many of the challenges facing the channel.”
