And that’s a wrap for UCC Day of LAVNCH WEEK 6! We had a great lineup of presenters and sessions that we hope you enjoyed because we certainly did.

So, without further ado, here is a quick recap of UCC Day.

Our first session of the day was a UCC update with Gary Kayye, Andy Howard and Amelia Vrabel. The group discussed the latest UCC trends and how they could impact the future of conferencing and collaboration. Doing hybrid well doesn’t happen overnight, and the three identified ways to make it easier such as better room design and updating in-office technology.

Up next, we had a session with Steph Beckett, Mark Coxon, Gordon Wright, Steven Polanco and Stephen Miller called “How to Make Hybrid Happen.” The group covered a plethora of topics ranging from incentivizing employees to return to the office to quiet quitting to alternative collaboration options outside of the office.

Our final session was with Gary Kayye on the trends he noticed from InfoComm and ISE and how they predict the future of AV. Here is what he had to say…

  • The supply chain is hurting manufacturers without supply chain issues too.
  • 2023 will be remembered for the cloud.
  • We have a bandwidth crisis
  • Crestron’s lack of AV-over-IP supply has slowed growth.
  • 2023 will bring a “standard” AV-over-IP.
  • All-in-one LEDs will drive 2023.
  • 2023 will see a record number of all-in-one products.
  • Microsoft Teams Front Row will fuel UCC in 2023.
  • Front Row is NOT the solution for hybrid meetings.
  • UCC is a growth market.
  • AI and machine learning are the future of AV.
  • We are facing a staff shortage.
  • We will see a rapid movement toward the COMPUTE device.

We also had some other great content including an UNSCRIPTED session, some conversations between our hosts and presenters, Gary briefly leaving us to retrieve a package (yes, he really did that) and a HUGE discovery about Megan A. Dutta. But I’m not going to tell you about those, I have to leave some things a surprise, right?

Watch the sessions, find out what package Gary HAD to get and Megan’s secret that left everyone shocked here. The content will be available for you to view on demand 24 hours after the event.

Don’t forget to join us tomorrow at 1 p.m. ET for Emerging Technologies Day!
