Who Did LANG’s 31-Foot Wide 8K Video Wall at ISE 2016? We Found Out!
LANG always aims to blow attendees way with the presence of a giant display at ISE. Last year it was a giant 4K image; this year, the company went for 8K, compliments of LEYARD. China-based LEYARD, parent company of PLANAR, put together an amazing display wall that was 9.5 meters wide (31feet) and 5 meters (16.4 feet) tall.
To constructs it, LANG used 64 LEYARD TW Series 1.2 pixel pitch LED cubes (54” diagonal) making an image that was 7680 x 4320 in resolution. And, at about 10-12 feet back, it looked seamless.
“LED technology will become increasingly important in the AV industry. With the brand LANG LED WORLDS we provide a big variety of services around LED,” said Tobias Lang, CEO of LANG AG. “There we look for excellence and have found for this year’s ISE with Leyard the ideal partner to prove this.”
“LANG AG has a well-deserved reputation for their attention-grabbing trade show exhibits and this year’s ISE is no exception,” said Jennifer Davis, chief marketing officer of Leyard International. “The Leyard TW Series video wall inspires attendees with the potential of fine-pitch LED.”

We actually shot videos at the LANG booth and it featured this wall. You can watch them here.
