L-Acoustics announced the opening of its expanded Asia-Pacific headquarters in Singapore, marking a significant investment in the region’s growing demand for immersive audio and live entertainment technologies. The new 9,000-square-foot facility includes an L-Acoustics Creative Studio designed to support artists, content creators and partners working with spatial audio.

The opening was attended by company co-CEOs Laurent Vaissié and Hervé Guillaume, along with Chief People Officer Anne Hamlett, highlighting the strategic importance of the location. “The Asia-Pacific region represents one of the most dynamic and fastest-growing markets for live entertainment and immersive audio experiences,” said Tim Zhou, CEO APAC at L-Acoustics. “This expansion gives us the infrastructure to better serve our growing community of clients and partners while providing artists and creators with a dedicated space to explore spatial audio.”

L-Acoustics established its Singapore subsidiary in 2019 and has since experienced significant growth, expanding to a team of 28 employees across the region. The larger headquarters replaces an initial co-working space, providing operational capacity to support touring productions, integrators and venue partners throughout APAC.

A centerpiece of the headquarters is the new L-Acoustics Creative Studio, a 47-square-meter environment equipped with 23 speakers in a three-dimensional configuration, including frontal, surround and overhead arrays. The space includes L-Acoustics DJ technology for club and festival applications, allowing DJs and electronic artists to prepare spatial sets.

The studio gives mixing engineers, sound designers and content creators hands-on access to L-ISA Immersive Hyperreal Sound technology. They can collaborate with L-Acoustics application specialists, refine spatial mixes and develop content for concerts, installations, clubs and hospitality venues. “We’re not just providing a demonstration space—we’re offering a creative production environment where artists can bring their spatial audio visions to life,” Zhou said.

Located in Singapore’s creative district and near Changi Airport, the headquarters enhances collaboration with regional partners and connects directly to the company’s local warehouse for streamlined service delivery. “This expansion reflects our long-term commitment to the Asia-Pacific market,” Vaissié said. “As the region’s creative and entertainment industries continue to evolve, we’re investing in the infrastructure and resources needed to support our partners’ ambitions.”

The new Singapore headquarters joins L-Acoustics hubs in Paris, Los Angeles and London, forming a global support network for the company’s customers and certified partners.
