Kramer Releases Two Hybrid Solutions For Education

kramerKramer has launched two new hybrid solutions aimed at the education market. The Kramer EDU-Hybrid-ZR is a Zoom Rooms solution that starts lessons with no personal device needed — and the Kramer EDU-Hybrid-1 is a software-agnostic wireless presentation and collaboration solution that can run any Windows-based UCC application including Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Both integrate with Kramer Control to allow all classroom devices to be controlled from one user interface.

EDU-Hybrid-ZR creates a learning environment with one display used for videoconference participants, and a second separate screen for sharable lesson content; it supports up to 4K resolution. Using a Kramer KT-107Z touch panel, teachers then launch Zoom Rooms to begin the session. The solution uses Zoom Rooms hardware, so no additional personal devices, like a laptop or PC, are needed.

EDU-Hybrid-1 is a software-agnostic wireless presentation and collaboration solution that enables teachers to connect and present lessons from any wireless device to in-class and remote students simultaneously. Lecturers launch their preferred Windows-based UCC platform and connect to pro-grade microphones and speakers.

The CPU of the solution is Kramer’s VIA Campus2.

At any point, a collaboration session or a lecture can be recorded, shared or archived using services such as Kaltura, Panopto or YouTube Live.
