J&S Audio Visual (JSAV) Acquires Buffalo-Based BAV

JSAV has completed the acquisition of Buffalo, NY-based BAV. The combination of these two long-standing integrated audio-visual companies enables both to reach further outside their established markets.

With a shared commitment to their clients and the highest level of quality reflected in both company’s outstanding customer satisfaction ratings, together JSAV and BAV have a combined 60 years of experience in the event, meeting and hospitality services business.

BAV’s well-established reputation on the east coast and Canada will increase the already far reach of JSAV which currently has nine branches serving the U.S., Mexico and the Dominican Republic.

BAV’s existing management team, including its president, VP of operations and VP of business development, will retain their titles and report to current management of JSAV.

JSAV is based in Irving, Tex. and has regional offices in Denver, San Antonio and Houston. In addition to its U.S. operations, JSAV also has international operations in Mexico and the Dominican Republic. As of January 2019, JSAV has multi-year contracts in place with over 75 hotels and convention centers in addition to regular business representing over 2,500 annual events and productions, 500 venue locations and 650 clients. JSAV has a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 87. Ashford Inc. owns an 88 percent controlling interest in JSAV and provides global asset management, investment management and related services to the real estate and hospitality sectors.

BAV produces events for approximately 100 clients and nearly 200 events annually. Their estimated customer retention rate is approximately 90 percent.
