Jetbuilt Launches Jetbot Drawings to Automate AV System Schematics

Jetbuilt has introduced Jetbot Drawings, an AI-powered feature that automatically generates complete system schematics within seconds, directly inside the Jetbuilt platform.
Powered by Jetbuilt’s proprietary AI engine, Jetbot Drawings produces accurate, fully connected system drawings that reflect professional engineering standards — compressing hours or days of manual design into seconds.
“For integrators, system schematics are a critical but time-consuming step between design and installation,” said Paul Dexter, CEO and founder of Jetbuilt. “Jetbot Drawings takes on the most repetitive and complex parts of the process, allowing engineers to focus on creativity, problem-solving and client experience.”
Automating the Design-to-Install Process
Jetbot Drawings analyzes a project’s bill of materials and scope of work within Jetbuilt, automatically mapping sources, processors, displays, speakers and other components into a detailed schematic. The tool applies consistent connection logic — using customized lines, colors and numbering schemes — just as a trained engineer would.
Users can refine the output in real time, adjusting layouts, adding components or moving devices as needed. The Modify function also supports natural language requests, allowing designers to reconfigure connections or reroute sources with simple text commands.
Integration and Workflow Enhancements
Drawings can be exported in DWG format, ensuring compatibility with industry-standard tools like AutoCAD and Vectorworks. Jetbuilt’s Vectorworks integration is already live, and an AutoCAD integration is in development to further streamline CAD-based workflows.
Jetbot Drawings was trained on thousands of product manuals, integration guides, and audiovisual best practices, enabling it to understand how systems are typically wired and configured. The result: accurate schematics in about 10 seconds, reducing engineering overhead and accelerating project timelines.
Looking Ahead
Jetbuilt plans to expand Jetbot’s capabilities beyond schematics to include rack elevations and floor plans, enabling complete AI-assisted system documentation from design through deployment.
“Our industry has long accepted the burden of manual schematics,” Dexter added. “With Jetbot, we’re redefining what’s possible — empowering teams to scale output, reduce costs and deliver projects faster without sacrificing quality.”
