Jabra announced a UCC-based bundle combining video and audio solutions for meeting rooms in collaboration with HP. The bundle features Jabra PanaCast, a 180 degree Panoramic-4K USB camera and HP Elite Slice room PC for UCC systems. The bundle is designed as a RBS — room-based systems — solution to UCC for video and audio conferencing and is primarily aimed at the IT market — not AV. It’s a combination fo Panacast video, Bang & Olufsen sound and an HP UCC computer.
The Jabra x HP Elite Slice bundle was created to allow for easy setup and streamlined maintenance for IT teams and users. The hardware solution console claims easy deployment, set up and management. And, Jabra claims that users will no longer need IT support to use the meeting room setup, and IT teams will find that adopting a singular management system reduces the need for training.
The Jabra x HP Elite Slice bundle is certified for Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms, offering a consistent user experience and working with existing conferencing solutions. Furthermore, IT teams can now easily manage the equipment and update systems remotely without having to be physically present in the room, eliminating challenges with social distancing.
The Jabra PanaCast and HP Elite Slice bundle will be available from mid-October.
