ISE 2014’s pre-show Investor Showcase, taking place on Mon., 3 Feb. at the Amsterdam RAI, will see a string of innovative tech companies presenting their businesses to investors of all kinds. A dozen companies have already been approved for participation and further applications are being considered by Go4Venture Advisers LLP, which is organising the Showcase in collaboration with Integrated Systems Events.
The half-day event will begin at 13:00 and will include an investor panel called, “Connected Lives — How Corporate and Financial Investors Can Work Smartly to Create Great Investment Outcomes.” The Panel will be moderated by Tim Lafferty, editor of Global Corporate Venturing, the world’s largest specialist publication in its field, reaching an estimated 80 percent of the corporate venturers at the top 1,000 companies worldwide. Companies represented on the Panel will include Samsung Ventures, Intel Capital, Qualcomm Ventures and Robert Bosch Venture Capital.
After the discussion, the panel will become part of the wider audience of other investors and journalists as the participating companies make their presentations. If desired, 1-2-1 meetings between presenting companies and potential investors can also be arranged by Go4Venture. Companies already approved to present include Qobuz, DISPLAX, Movea, SoftKinetic and weavesys.
Companies active in the industries represented by ISE seeking investment still have time to apply to present, while potential investors from companies exhibiting at or visiting the show are welcome to pre-register for an invitation which will be necessary to guarantee attendance on the day.
