Top Emerging Trends from ISE 2025 Day 1

day 1 trendss

And just like that, we’re halfway through ISE 2025. I knew ISE 2025 was going to be big, but even from afar, it’s clear that the industry is evolving at an incredible pace. From LED advancements to projection mapping to meeting equity solutions, the trends are clear—and manufacturers are pushing the boundaries in some pretty exciting ways.

One thing that stands out this year is how manufacturers are refining existing technologies rather than just introducing brand-new concepts. Although there are still lots of new and exciting products, many of the biggest announcements are about making things easier to use, work better, and fit into real-world uses. This includes things like better LED screens, more useful projection mapping, and a push toward cloud-based AV management. The industry is clearly moving toward solutions that are not only advanced but also more adaptable, long-lasting, and user-friendly.

Let’s take a closer look at what’s emerging from Day 1. Oh and don’t forget to tune into our coverage of the next 2 days of ISE here.

1. LED

LED is evolving at an insane pace. More companies are jumping in, pricing is getting more accessible, and the quality? Better than ever. Whether you’re looking at high-brightness solutions or ultra-fine-pitch displays, there’s a lot happening. DynaScan, for example, showcased its 1.8mm fine-pitch high-brightness LED displays, reflecting the broader push toward better clarity, brightness, and versatility in LED technology. As competition increases, expect to see continued improvements in performance and accessibility across the category.

2. Projection Mapping

If you thought projection was taking a backseat, think again. The show floor was packed with new projection applications—proving just how versatile and essential this technology still is. From immersive experiences to corporate and entertainment applications, it’s clear projection isn’t going anywhere. For example, Da-Lite introduced Myriad Reveal and Conceal projection screens with ambient light rejection, one of several offerings designed to improve image visibility in challenging lighting conditions.

3. Meeting Equity

With hybrid work cementing itself as the new normal, meeting equity is a major talking point this year. Several manufacturers showcased new all-in-one video conferencing displays, enhanced camera integrations, and intelligent audio solutions aimed at improving communication and collaboration. Logitech’s Rally Board 65 was among the products designed to streamline meeting room setups, while Nureva highlighted camera integrations with its audio solutions to create a more seamless experience for hybrid teams. The goal? Making sure everyone—remote or in-room—has an equal experience.

4. Cloud-Based AV

If there’s one thing that dominated conversations today, it was the cloud. From AI-driven enhancements to system management, cloud technology is quickly becoming the backbone of modern AV solutions. Companies are using it to make workflows smoother, reduce IT issues, and make faster decisions. Instead of relying on complicated on-site systems, more manufacturers are moving to cloud-based setups that enable smarter, more efficient AV experiences.

For example, AI-powered audio and video processing allows for new levels of automation, optimizing settings instantly without human involvement. Also, cloud-based management platforms are making device monitoring simpler, making it easier for IT teams to install updates and fix problems remotely. Additionally, advanced analytics are giving businesses deeper insights into how their AV systems are being used, helping them make data-driven improvements.

Nureva, for instance, introduced its Console Cloud-Based Dashboard, designed to streamline device monitoring and updates. Across the board, manufacturers are using the cloud to make things simpler, improve system performance, and enable more flexible AV environments.

As ISE 2025 gets underway, it’s clear that manufacturers are focusing on improving performance, efficiency, and accessibility across AV solutions. From brighter and more refined LED displays to smarter projection technology, enhanced meeting tools, and cloud-powered management, the trends emerging from the show indicate where the industry is heading next.

There’s plenty more to come—stay tuned for more updates as the event continues here.
