InfoComm: More than a Mini-DS Show

I was thoroughly and completely impressed with InfoComm’s integration of digital signage at this year’s show – InfoComm 2010 in Vegas.  If you missed it, you missed a show ever bit as good as the DSE itself.

OK, sure, there weren’t nearly the same number of DS manufacturers at InfoComm 2010 as there were at the last DSE show this past February in Vegas, but, I will tell you that the ones that were at InfoComm were the leaders.  And, I distinctly remember a lot of attendees at DSE thinking, “There are way too many software and media player manufacturers here – how can this many survive such an emerging market?”

Well, the ones at InfoComm will!  So, for those of you wondering who the market leaders, the market makers and the market drivers are, just take a look at the exhibitor’s directory from InfoComm because they were all there.

Congrats to InfoComm for embracing the DS market and congrats to an amazing show – over 32,000 attendees, in fact!
