I’m Ecstatic About Yesterday’s Almo ProAV E4 AV Tour!

I just flew home, last night, from spending two days in Chicago for the Almo ProAV E4 AV Tour. I’ve been to all of them — every single one.

And, yesterday’s was the best. THE BEST.

Nine years after launching Almo’s commercial AV division, Sam Taylor has created the industry’s favorite (according to the last three of our Reader’s Choice Awards) distributor. And, there’s certainly no disagreement that they have THE BEST distributor show in the ProAV market.

The Chicago even set an attendance record yesterday – the biggest E4 AV Tour, ever. My keynote had over 400 people in it, the show had nearly 600 attendees (that’s staggering for a regional AV show), the show floor had over 40 booths and Avocor’s – Almo’s newest partner – picked the E4 for its North American debut of it’s Collaboration Board.

And, in less than 24 hours after delivering it, over 1100 people have watched the recording of my live-streamed “Everything You Need to Know About 4K” keynote, in less than 24 hours.

There were 10 InfoComm CTS-certified RU credit courses, too.

So, did you miss it? Well, you can literally be there – as if you were there – thanks to our E4 AV Tour Microsite. We recorded 58 product videos from booths all over the show floor, you can get copies of the presentation handouts and you can watch my 4K keynote.

All this was packed in to a seven hour event that was packed from opening to closing.
