iBoardTouch to showcase 98inch interactive touchscreen at ISE

1369758463Leeds, UK 2nd Feb 2015: iBoardTouch will showcase its interactive real time collaboration solutions for business and education at ISE 2015 in Hall 10, booth P144.

The highlight at ISE will be the worldwide launch of the i98, an industry-leading 98-inch, 4K interactive display – the largest single interactive flat panel display on the market.

The ten-point multi-touch wide screen display gives business and education users an ultra-large interactive display with Ultra High Definition that is ideal for collaborative working and learning and for the crystal clear display of rich media content.

The i98 serves as an ultra-large canvas to give visual data impact and inspire interaction. It provides an ultra-large display for simultaneous viewing of multiple content sources including full screen video conferencing capabilities that really packs a punch in lecture theatres, conference rooms and auditorium.

ISE will also see iBoardTouch showcase its interactive real time collaboration solutions for education.

Zulfi Baig, International Operations Director of iBoardTouch, says: “Today’s schools and colleges face the challenge of creating digital classrooms that improve learning outcomes now and in the future. Our flexible and versatile solutions enhance any learning space with real time interactive collaboration whether it is for one-to-one, small-group, whole-class, large-group learning or virtual learning groups.

New at ISE is DigiClass software, which connects personal and mobile devices to the full iBoardTouch Lite and Pro range of interactive flat-panel display for seamless, bi-directional collaboration, answering the needs of BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) and mixed-device environments.

DigiClass can be used to set tasks for students, so they can work individually or in small groups on their devices or using traditional methods like pen and paper, and to share the their work and ideas with the class. A built-in voting panel enables questions to be set to the class to gauge levels of understanding, to start discussions and to measure changes in understanding between the start and end of a lesson.

The new DigiClass tablet provides a cost-effective 10-inch tablet for schools preloaded with DigiClass software, for wireless connection to iBoardTouch Lite and Pro ranges and to DigiClass on other PCs and devices. iBoardTouch DigiClass and IWBPro provides schools with ready-to-use digital classroom collaboration.

DigiClass also turns any device with a built-in camera into a visualiser. With the built-in visualiser tool you simply hover your device over a document or object and send the image wirelessly to the touch screen.

ISE visitors will also be able to see IWBPro, a brand new software application, and an upgrade to VCC, iBoardTouch’s Video Conferencing and Collaboration software, which integrates video conference calls, screen share, screen-based document collaboration and the ability to open medical imaging dicom files.

The new version of VCC gains cloud storage and virtual network add-ons for the secure information sharing of files stored in an encrypted online repository and accessible from anywhere in the world.

IWBPro software opens native SMART and Promethean files so it is easy to share presentations, lessons or other content created for legacy platforms – previously a difficult process and source of great frustration for business executives and teachers.

Also on show at ISE is a selection of interactive displays from the iBoardTouch range of Full HD (1080p) and UHD (4K) interactive LED flat-panel displays with 10-point multi-touch and with a low- power, anti-glare screen from 55-inch to 98-inch, for shadow-free and vibrant display of content with crisp detail.

A Pro Pack upgrade adds an integrated PC and comprehensive suite of applications to enable collaborative and interactive work in the digital meeting room and classroom, including VCC, IWBPro and DigiClass. Additional options include motion and new voice command technology.
