At CEDIA Expo 2024, Quantum Media Solutions demoed its XDR Pro Cinema Video Wall, which is specifically designed for luxury residential environments. I attended a demo of this product, and while movies are not my thing, I do enjoy video games and this is a great product for that as well.

The setup included a 20-foot-wide Cinemascope-format XDR Pro Cinema Video Wall, a high-end surround-sound system, acoustical treatments, media servers, a power management system and a control system.

The Quantum team showed off several features, including its versatile configuration capabilities, heat and noise reduction and its multi-image processing.

We also saw a couple of movie trailers to experience the display’s full HDR. While viewing, it was kind of like wearing a black shirt and black pants that are slightly different shades, but instead of being extremely frustrating, the contrast elevated the experience.

Overall, the product was really cool, and it made me want to watch a movie just to see the difference in specs.
