Hitachi Introduces Very Orange Education Projector
Hitachi’s new ED-X10 is a 3LCD projector specified at XGA 1024 x 768 resolution, 1500/2000 ANSI lumens and 500:1 contrast ratio. The interesting thing is the color – it’s a very bright orange. Not only is it a cool looking color, the bright chassis is great for security which, says the company, is the most important part of the design of this projector. Who wants to steal an Orange Projector for home use?
The ED-X10 has whiteboard/blackboard/greenboard mode and a “My Screen” feature, which lets users put a permanent image such as a logo into the computer’s memory so that it always displays onscreen when the projector is on. It also has a customizable PIN code.
