Canon Medical Systems Europe (CMSE) has partnered with Pro Systems and Sony Professional Displays & Solutions Europe to equip its new European headquarters and Canon Medical Academy in Amstelveen, Netherlands, with professional displays and a workplace management system.

During the relocation, CMSE also introduced its new Canon Medical Academy Europe. Because of the relocation and opening of the new academy, CMSE’s requirements and preferences for supporting technologies were assessed, and there was a need for a centralised system for room booking, desk booking, parking management, digital signage and wireless presenting.
“The way CMSE work has dramatically evolved during the post-pandemic world, and since the introduction of its academy that’s dedicated to training and education, they needed to upgrade their workspaces to suit the needs of its medical professionals,” says Pro Systems.

In addition to TEOS, Pro Systems installed 31 Sony BRAVIA professional displays, including BZ40H, BZ40L and BZ30J models. These displays support digital signage, wayfinding and presentation needs throughout the facility. Some models include DIDCOM Sim mode, which enables proper viewing of X-ray images for non-diagnostic purposes—an important feature for medical training environments.

CMSE staff can wirelessly present content using the TEOS mobile app, while AV managers use Sony’s BRAVIA Supervisor tool to remotely manage displays and update content. TEOS modules for room and parking management are also used throughout the academy, with reservation panels installed outside all training and meeting rooms.

“It’s great to support CMSE with the move to their new headquarters and opening of a new academy, providing essential training for medical professionals. Our TEOS solution and BRAVIA displays are a match made in heaven for businesses wanting an appealing workspace that doesn’t just look good, but works good for every employee,” says Adam Dover, senior trade and corporate marketing manager at Sony Europe.
