Here’s What You Missed from the DC Almo ProAV E4 AV Tour

We just returned form the first stop on the 2018 ALMO E4 AV Tour in Washington DC and it’s safe to say that Almo ProAV still has THE BEST regional trade shows of ANY AV distributor in North America. Not only do they blow away the competition in sheer numbers — 500+ attendees, 45 exhibitors and two educational tracks worth 18 AVIXA CTS RUs – but this year’s event featured a lot of stuff never shown at a North American trade show.

Like what? Well, here’s a quick round-up:

For starters, Optoma has a new native 4K laser projector with HDR10 in the form of the UHZ65:

Panasonic showed its brand-new 75BQE1, a 75-Inch 4K touch panel display:

Sharp demoed its new 4K AQUOS BOARD at the E4 AV Tour:

And, Barco showed its integration of the new Overture control system with ClickShare:

If you’re in the digital signage market, you’ll want to see this new product from Zebrix (it’s the simplest content management system I’ve ever seen):
