One of the most iconic casinos on the world-famous Las Vegas Strip has elevated its guest experience with a state-of-the-art sound system renovation using advanced audio technology from Powersoft. This renovation not only enhances the ambiance of the casino floor but also redefines the gaming experience for guests, further setting the standard for high-end hospitality and entertainment.

Designed and delivered by Global AV Group, a boutique firm based in Long Island, New York, the project includes 26 Powersoft Quattrocanali 4804 DSP-D and 13 Quattrocanali 8804 DSP-D amplifiers, all with built-in DSP and Dante networking, as well as five X4L amplifiers with DSP.

Amid the constant chime of slot machines, the buzz of card tables, and the steady movement of patrons and staff, the soundscape of a casino can be overwhelming—making pristine sound management critical. Installing Powersoft amplifiers across the property marks a significant step forward in modernizing its audio infrastructure. Ojeda explained the team’s approach: “To meet the client’s mandate, we began with a meticulous and comprehensive assessment of the property, considering every nuance and potential challenge. A team of eight worked tirelessly over five days and nights to complete the initial phase, which involved locating the transformers and cable paths, addressing speaker-hole sizes in the ceiling, power requirements and countless other details to ensure a smooth and successful installation. Taking the entire system offline for an extended period was not an option, so maintaining the guest experience was critically important to the project’s success.”

The new system combines Powersoft amplifiers with more than 1,000 loudspeakers and subwoofers from various manufacturers. The retrofit has transformed the auditory experience on the casino floor, delivering crystal-clear sound throughout. Powersoft’s ArmoníaPlus Install Skin offers a streamlined configuration of sources and control surfaces, enabling complete control through the company’s Dynamic Music Distribution System. Audio content can now be shared independently among different zones, regardless of source location.
