Lightware outlined its Alliance and Ecosystem Partnership strategy during a briefing with rAVe editors, emphasizing its commitment to open integration and industry interoperability. As a Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) partner and member of the Teams Rooms program, Lightware enables bring-your-own-device (BYOD) connectivity, allowing users to connect personal laptops to room peripherals while benefiting from USB host switching, wired Ethernet, and device charging.

Lightware also partners with major industry players such as Logitech, Poly, Yealink, and Barco ClickShare to simplify USB connectivity for unified communications and collaboration (UCC) applications.

“One of our core values is our philosophy of open integration,” said Gergely Vida, CEO of Lightware. “This ensures our devices work seamlessly within existing AV infrastructures. Through our integration partnerships, we strengthen our commitment to interoperability by collaborating with industry leaders such as Microsoft, Cisco, Logitech, Yamaha, Sennheiser, Lenovo, and Barco.”

Working with Yamaha and Sennheiser, Lightware has also added voice-tracking solutions using PTZ camera tracking, expanding functionality beyond standard meeting rooms. Additional collaborations with Cisco, Q-SYS, Utelogy, and P5 enhance control, automation, and monitoring for large-scale AV environments, supporting broader applications like lighting management and workflow optimization.

“Through our commitment to building integration partnerships, we aim to empower businesses, educational institutions, and live events with AV solutions that meet today’s needs and are built for the future,” added Vida. “By working with leading brands, Lightware continues to drive innovation and offer a flexible ecosystem that keeps pace with the evolving AV industry.”

Lightware Visual Engineering operates in more than 30 countries and employs a workforce of over 400 people.
