Panasonic Video and Audio Systems North America (PAVNA) announced plans to showcase its connected solutions for broadcast, live events, and corporate applications at NAB 2025. With demand growing for flexible, IP-based workflows, Panasonic aims to support production teams with tools designed for efficiency, reliability, and exceptional viewer experiences.

Here’s a pre-show videocast we recorded with Panasonic:

From sports studios and classrooms to live events and corporate environments, Panasonic is presenting the latest additions to its AV ecosystem, including:

  • AG-CX370 Handheld Camcorder:
A successor to the CX350, the AG-CX370 adds 12G-SDI output, GENLOCK input for multi-camera sync, and 4-channel audio input, all in a compact and energy-efficient design.
  • KAIROS Live Production Platform:
Version 1.8 introduces multi-unit control, graphics integration (Singular.live, Viz Flowics), and expanded resolution support, including 16:10 and 5:4 formats.
  • KAIROS Alliance Partner Network:
EIZO joins the network, with its 30.5-inch HDR “ColorEdge PROMINENCE CG1” now verified for SMPTE ST 2110 workflows with KAIROS, enhancing studio integration and flexibility.
  • Media Production Suite Plug-ins:
New tools include a video mixer plug-in (AW-SF400G Ver. 2), AI keying without green screens, Smart Switching, and advanced auto framing for PTZ workflows.
  • AK-UCX100 4K Studio Camera:
With 2,000 TV lines of resolution and support for HLG/BT.2020, this studio camera supports 12G-SDI, ST 2110, NDI High Bandwidth, and SRT, and can operate without a CCU.
  • AW-UE160W/K 4K PTZ Camera:
An upcoming firmware update will enable NDI Embedded Bridge, simplifying remote production without the need for a global IP or complex network configuration.
  • AW-UE150AW/AK 4K PTZ Camera:
Offers high-quality imaging, smooth pan/tilt/zoom, and NDI High Bandwidth support for remote production.
  • AW-UB50 and AW-UB10 Box Cameras:
New updates include pan-tilt control via Movicom Robyhead D2 (spring 2025) and NDI HX2 support (spring/summer 2025) for compressed video and single-cable operation.
  • Memory Card Camcorders (AG-CX20, LUMIX HC-X2100/X1600/X1200):
These 4K/60p-capable camcorders offer wide-angle lenses, 24x optical zoom, and advanced AF features for mobile production environments.
  • WX-AM800 Beamforming Ceiling Microphone:
Designed for education and corporate spaces, it auto-detects speaker location and triggers PTZ camera presets to follow the conversation seamlessly.
  • WR-AV800 AV Processor:
Pairs with the WX-AM800 to control up to four ceiling mics and eight PTZ cameras, synchronizing audio and video for fluid classroom and conference experiences.
