Legrand AV is set to attend CEDIA Expo 2024 and the co-located Commercial Integrator Expo, Sept. 5-7, in Denver. At the show, the company will present fully integrated products from Chief, Da-Lite, Luxul, Middle Atlantic, On-Q, SANUS and Vaddio. In addition, Legrand AV says it will highlight its latest CSR initiatives and MDU solutions as well as a full comprehensive schedule of educational and training sessions throughout the trade show.

“A key part of creating an amazing AV experience is having solutions that are flexible and fit together seamlessly,” Senior Channel Marketing Manager of Legrand | AV Bernadette Pearo said. “In our booth, we’ll not only highlight our best-selling solutions from across our brands but also demonstrate integrated solutions designed for the growing opportunities in a variety of applications, including multi-dwelling unit (MDU) environments.”

Here’s a preview of the Legrand AV products that will be shown in Denver:

Powerful AV Starts at the Core

Middle Atlantic will show its RackLink Series of power distribution, management and backup solutions with the full range of the platform’s remote management and monitoring options. The RackLink-enabled family includes Premium+ PDU, Select Series PDU  and NEXSYS AV power distribution and backup platform. Middle Atlantic’s RackLink Cloud remote management and monitoring option will be highlighted as part of the RackLink ecosystem. With RackLink Cloud, Middle Atlantic says installers can reduce truck rolls, eliminate on-site visits for routine tasks, optimize workforce allocation and achieve significant cost savings. Attendees will also be able to check out Middle Atlantic’s  BGR Series, the  rack enclosure that offers higher weight capacity, more usable rackspace and features to solve common challenges and accelerate integration.

Another highlight in the booth will be On-Q’s line of plastic enclosures, including the all-new Plastic 15″ Enclosure with Deep Trim and Hinged Cover. Originally designed at the request of the MDU market, On-Q says this versatile enclosure is ideal for a multitude of environments. The extra-deep design neatly manages networking solutions with larger components like ISP modems, routers and switches. Its streamlined one-piece trim ring simplifies installation, while Wi-Fi transparent material ensures strong connectivity by allowing Wi-Fi signals to pass through. The unit also includes multiple knockouts for keystones, cable management and single gang old work electrical boxes.

Transforming the Entertainment Experience

Da-Lite will show the new Parallax Thin screen. Designed specifically for ultrashort throw projectors, this re-engineered thin bezel fixed frame screen features Ambient Light Rejection (ALR) screen surface and offers an alternative to a rigid screen that ships assembled in a large crate. It is available in 16:9 and 21:9 sizes, providing a solution for wider sizes yet shipping in a small, lightweight package standard parcel delivery for added ease and cost-efficiency, according to the company.

For TV mounts, SANUS will showcase its new Advanced Full-Motion 4D + SHIFT mount, the VLF828-B2. Designed for 42-inch to 90-inch TVs, this mount introduces technology that provides a total of up to 8 inches of post-installation vertical height adjustment. SANUS says this SHIFT feature allows users to raise or lower the TV during installation for precision placement or at any later time when making system or environment changes such as adding a soundbar or making updates to decor. This feature can be especially beneficial, and a significant time saver for installers when facing pre-existing wall challenges such as outlet placement, allowing the installer to raise or lower the wall plate to avoid the obstruction, and then raise or lower the TV in response to achieve preferred positioning on the wall.

Work From Home or At the Office Like a Boss

For home offices and small businesses seeking a video conferencing upgrade, Vaddio says it will showcase the new Vaddio Venture VideoBAR. The all-in-one video conferencing system provides lifelike audio and video quality with its UHD 8.51-megapixel 1/2.5-type CMOS image sensor, a 110-degree wide-angle horizontal field of view, 3x digital zoom, six-element beamforming microphone array and high-fidelity speaker system with built-in DSP.

Another must-see will be Chief’s new innovative Fit Mobile Cart for interactive displays. This sleek, low-profile cart is designed to accommodate flat-panel displays ranging from 55 inches to 86 inches and up to 175 lbs. The company says the slim footprint ensures stability, allowing users to interact “effortlessly” with touchscreens. Chief will also demonstrate its all-in-one, easy-to-configure Tempo Flat Panel In-Wall Mount System, which includes in-wall storage and flat-panel mounts that can be purchased and installed to accommodate various construction stages, from rough-in to AV commissioning.

To meet the growing demand for wireless support, Legrand | AV will showcase Luxul’s Dual-Band Indoor Access Point (AP-3064). It provides 802.11ax Wi-Fi 6 network capabilities, ideal for networks requiring greater device traffic capacity, higher data transfer speeds and broader coverage with lower latency. For a strong AV network, the company’s managed switch family, which features simple installation and setup, will be shown. The SW Series includes eight managed switches that enable systems integrators to quickly set up, install and manage any AV-over-IP infrastructure, with sufficient PoE+ to power numerous network devices, according to Legrand.

Tackling New Opportunities With Comprehensive Solutions

The booth will feature a must-see MDU vignette, demonstrating how Legrand | AV’s centralized infrastructure solutions work behind the scenes to mount, power and protect AV equipment. On-Q’s in-wall enclosures will show how integrators can keep essential systems concealed yet accessible for easy expansion or updates as technology needs to evolve. Designed by experts familiar with MDU spaces, the vignette showcases Legrand | AV solutions to “ensure tenants stay connected with a reliable AV infrastructure.” Legrand | AV will also highlight comprehensive solutions for living spaces, common areas, outdoor spaces, meeting rooms and business centers and more.
