Sennheiser announced that RoomReady, a meeting room technology provider, has selected the TeamConnect Ceiling 2 (TCC 2) microphone as the standard solution for its predesigned AV setups, known as Room Menus. These standardized solutions provide everything needed for certified video conferencing systems. RoomReady, a long-time Sennheiser integrator, has installed over 1,000 TCC 2 microphones since 2021, choosing it for its ease of use and high-quality audio performance.

As a testament to its confidence in the TCC 2, RoomReady installed the microphone in its new Bloomington, Illinois, headquarters. These meeting rooms showcase RoomReady’s approach to AV integration, emphasizing simplicity, speed, and flexibility while delivering consistent, high-quality audio.

RoomReady is known for simplifying AV installations through its methodology, The RoomReady Way, which involves pre-assembling, testing, and certifying solutions before deployment. In response to the shift toward hybrid work, RoomReady needed a versatile unified communications (UC) solution compatible with platforms like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Cisco Webex. The TCC 2 stood out during testing in RoomReady’s Tech Lab, meeting requirements for flexibility, high-quality audio, and reduced equipment footprints. It supports Dante and analog connections, allowing integration with various configurations, including Cisco VoIP systems.

The TCC 2’s patented Dynamic Beamforming technology automatically tracks speakers’ positions and ensures clear audio capture from any part of the room. With 28 built-in microphone heads, it delivers natural, clear sound, making it suitable for a wide range of meeting spaces, from large conference rooms to divisible training rooms. Its flexible installation options—recessed, ceiling-mounted, or suspended—allow seamless integration across diverse architectural designs.
