HB Communications’ Kevin Collins Passes Away

Friends and colleagues,

Dana Barron, CEO of HB Communications, called me yesterday to ask if we would send out a message to the AV community in regards to Kevin’s sudden passing. I have mixed feeling about sending an email blast about someone’s death, but Kevin simply wasn’t “someone” – he was not only the face of HB Communications for the past two decades or so, but he was also the face of the ProAV industry – having served on the InfoComm Board, Executive Committee and then as board chair.

Kevin was a great friend, mentor and confidante to many of us in AV. His passion for AV will be missed, but his passion for the people in AV will be missed more.

Kevin, thank you for everything. You are already missed.
