HaiVision Systems Inc., a manufacturer of high-performance H.264 encoders and codec systems, and Video Furnace Inc., a maker of IP video delivery software solutions, have signed a definitive agreement to merge and become HaiVision Network Video. In their announcement, they make the claim that they “offer the only end-to-end high-definition (HD) H.264 IPTV platform for education, corporate, medical, and military video-over-IP distribution systems.”   Huh?  What about Polycom?
